Dana is an owner, runs the day-to-day operations, marketing, customer relations, scheduling, and is happy to help you find your next favorite game.

Ash (he/they)

Curator

Ash is also referred to as "The Alchemist." When he's not working on new flavor combinations at The Grind, he's usually here playing Magic, or working at Hair Cuttery in Crest Hill. Check out his secret menu item: Razmatazz Toast

Ky (they/them)

Curator

Ky is our most recent addition to the team and they jumped right in with excitement and joy. They've been collaborating with Ash on our monthly specials. When not working at Critical Grind, Ky is often playing games at Critical Grind, or working at the White Oak Library in Lockport.

Shaun (he/his)

Owner/Vice President

Shaun is an owner and mostly works behind the scenes. Though he helps schedule themed nights, game competitions, and offers his services as a DM for Hire.

Rudy (he/him)

Curator & Hobby Ambassador

Ava is here in the summer! During the school year she's away but she makes an excellent addition to the team every summer.

Saphira (she/her)

Host/Helper

Saphira is the daughter of Dana and Shaun. She's enjoys teaching kids how to play games. She can also be found at the cafe' wiping down tables and organizing board games.

Aidan (he/they)

Curator

Aidan is new to the tabletop gaming world, and coffee, but his excitement to learn and be involved in our community makes them a valuable asset to our team. When not working Aidan like to play video games, and is in school to be a mechanic.
