Happy St. Patrick's Day! March has been fun so far and we're looking forward to finishing the month of strong while we line up and lock in our April events.

Episode 9 of Critical Community featured Ruben Ramirez. Ruben is a loving husband and father, a motivational speaker, host of the podcast Constant Forward Motion, and now author of The Zero Effect. 


Ruben will be at the cafe on Saturday, March 22nd at 11am for a book signing.

Books wil be available to purchase that day. Cafe purchases are required.

Upcoming Events:


We're opening back up on March 24th with our regular hours. For the week of Spring Break, come in between 9am & 3pm and earn DOUBLE victory points.

After Spring Break we'll be launching back into our regular hours. If you work for a school or organization and would like to plan a field trip, please email me directly, dana@criticalgrind.com


This month, our friend Candi Forest will be hosting Fabulous Bingo. Join us from 7pm - 8:30pm. It's $10 per bingo board and half of this month's proceeds will go toward Human Rights Campaign.


Starting March 25th, we'll be hosting Miniature Painting drop-ins from 3pm until 8pm. $5 will cover paints and brushers. Some minis will be available for additional purchases, or you can bring your own. We plan on hosting monthly contests in the future as well.

We're taking signups for our Learn to Play: Wingspan on Saturday, March 29th at 1pm. $8 to play and that also gets you open play at the cafe for the rest of the day.
